This is acrylic on canvas. I was inspired by a photo taken by Jen Kaufman-Dalton, daughter of my cousin. Her photo is below.
As you can see I took a lot of liberty with it, and my painting was never intended to be a realistic reproduction of the photo. The photo needs no improvment. Jen is an artist with a camera and it stands on its own as a beautiful picture.
